When we're waiting impatiently for the cashier to give us change for our 59 cent cheeseburger, or fishing around behind the sofa to find the plug for the lamp, we seldom consider the items we handle so often as anything but tragic necessities. In doing so, we miss the beauty and grace these simple items add to our lives. In my work, I create images of the ordinary, seen in extraordinary ways, transcending the mundane to capture the elegance and art in the house.
