People are my passion.
As a self-employed web designer and graphic artist,
I have the opportunity to meet people, to learn what matters to them
and to create products that truly meet their needs. When I'm coordinating
the long jump at the Special Olympics, I can interact with and encourage
the athletes to help them perform in ways that are both challenging
and rewarding. As a music education student and future choral conductor,
my love of meeting people and sharing ideas with them is a key ingredient
in what defines "Scott" and what makes me a dynamic team player in any
situation.
Now, I am in Des Moines and would like to put
my varied skills and interests to work for you and your company. What
am I capable of? Check out my résumé to get an idea of the scope of
my experience: four years doing web and graphic design; small business
owner; experience in retail and management; volunteer and professional
musician. Add that to my outgoing, self-motivated personality and my
caring professionalism, and you have an employee who will be a valuable
team member in every setting. I can provide a combination of creativity,
organization, and motivation which is valuable, yet unique to a technophile
musician.
To most people, "musician" means "archaic technophobe."
In fact, nothing is further from the truth. I am fascinated by its latest
developments and advances, but most importantly, I am intrigued by all
of the ways in which technology impacts the lives of everyday people.
Whether I am developing web sites for small businesses as a part-time
business, instructing students in creating interactive presentations,
or explaining how one may program a web page to do exactly what is needed,
it is at the intersection of technology and the human experience where
I thrive.
This is your opportunity to hire a talented
and creative employee. I look forward to the chance to meet with you
to discover how I can be part of a dynamic team in bringing your business
forward. Please feel free to contact me by email,
or by phone.
